Mission RCMP officers are investing a report about gun shots that were heard just after 8 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 20) in the 30000 block of Dewdney Trunk Road.
"One neighbour reported shots fired. Someone was possibly shot at, but no one was hit or injured, no one was arrested," said Cpl. Mike Sukkau.
The report drew the RCMP helicopter Air 1, an emergency response team, a police dog unit as well as regular officers to a residence, he said.
"That's not unusual with a report of shots fired," said Sukkau.
The investigation continues as officers have yet to determine if shots were actually fired.
