Editor, the Times:

I know I will get negative feedback from this letter but I would just like to say that I think we, as tax payers should have a say as to whether these illegal immigrants should be allowed to be here. In Canada there has been over 10,000 illegal immigrants who have come to B.C. or Canada. We, the people of B.C., are the ones who will be stuck footing the bill for their medical check-ups, housing, food etc. Don't you think Canada has done enough already?

Canada should not have allowed the ship to enter our waters, it should have been turned back. Now it is believed that two more ships are on the way here, which is nonsense. Are we expected to take these ones as well? We have people here in need, and here we are giving charity to illegal immigrants who cannot be bothered to go through the proper channels, what us Canadians cannot even get for our own from our own government.
