Shoe Memorial
AMS will hold a Shoe Memorial to remember B.C.'s missing or murdered women, on March 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., in conjunction with a Memory March and vigil.
The event will be at the Civic Plaza behind Abbotsford City Hall.
The vigil feature speakers including Gladys Radek from walk4justice, who will open the vigil at 1 p.m.
The event will include Mary Billy's The Femicide List after the December 1989 Montreal Massacre, which now contains 1,865 names of women and children murdered across Canada. Hunt assumed responsibility for the list in 2005.
Donated shoes will go to The Warm Zone and Vancouver Downtown Eastside women. They can be dropped off at A & D Music after March 1.
To rent a vendor table at TVM, the cost is $50. This includes a ticket to the show and credit for being a sponsor in the show program.
