Seven of Yale Secondary's Leadership students and two teachers attended the Canadian Student Leadership Conference in Weyburn, Sask. recently.
The CSLC conference was attended by more than 1,000 student leaders from across Canada.
The Abbotsford students heard from keynote speakers such as ex-CFL player Michael "Pinball" Clemons, humanitarian Dr. Samantha Nutt, environmentalist Geoff Green, and motivational speakers Phil Boyte and Mark Scharenbroich. The students also participated in workshops taught by educators.
