The Big Bike made a return visit to the streets of Burnaby recently.

The annual fundraising effort with the Heart and Stroke Foundation sees teams of 29, plus a driver from the foundation, travel through B.C. communities.

In Burnaby, city staffers took their turn on the Big Bike with Coun. Paul McDonnell in the front row. Other Burnaby teams included groups from Grand Villa Casino, Pacific Blue Cross, Costco, Telus OMG Team, Terrific Telus Team, Rotaract Team, Investors Group and McKesson/Thales.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation raises funds for research and eduction to limit heart disease and stroke, which kills one in three Canadians.
