Santa Claus comes to town Friday, Dec. 7 for the largest night-time Christmas parade in B.C. as the Mission Chamber of Commerce hosts the 29th annual Mission Candlelight Parade.

Up to 80 floats are expected this year along with dignitaries, including Mission's Olympic bronze medalist Brent Hayden. The parade starts at 7: 30 p.m. at Horne Street and continues down First Avenue to Park Street. If you are in the parade, mar-shaling begins at 5: 30 p.m. Registrations are still being taken and there is no cost to participate.
