Do you have one hour a week to spare? Volunteers are needed for a program at the Clearbrook Library and the new Abbotsford Community Library.

The program pairs high school students and/or adult volunteers with children in grades 1-4 who need extra help with their reading skills. The volunteers spend an hour a week practising reading and playing literacy based games with their little buddies.

Students earn volunteer hours towards graduation requirements. An orientation session is provided to all volunteers before being assigned a reading buddy. Application forms are available at the children's desk at Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford.
