Abbotsford Police have released a photo of a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant on South Fraser Way at the beginning of February.

The man entered a sandwich chain shop in the 31900 block of South Fraser Way at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 4, said Const. Ian MacDonald.

He approached the counter with what appeared to be a "silver weapon" in his hand and demanded cash.

The man then jumped onto to counter and grabbed cash out of the till before fleeing.

The suspect is described as five feet seven inches tall with a medium build and a dark complexion.

He was wearing a striped shirt, blue track pants and a stocking concealed his face.
