The woman who was likely murdered and whose body was found in her mobile home in Mission on Thursday afternoon has been identified.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team identified the 47-year-old homicide victim as Muriel Anne Elaine Monk, stated a press release Tuesday.
IHIT investigators are asking the public for help to locate Monk's green, 1997 Dodge Caravan.
The van's B.C. licence plate reads 662 RTH.
Although Monk appears to be the victim of foul play, an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to pinpoint the cause of death.
Investigators ask anyone with information about the investigation to contact IHIT by phone tip line at 1-877-551-4448 or by e-mail to ihittipline@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
