The ghosts and goblins in Abbotsford and Mission are starting to rise with the approach of All Hallow's Eve on Wednesday.
All things eerie are underway this weekend with haunted houses being hosted in both communities.
Families can get their pants scared off with two tours through the historic haunted Trethewey House in Abbotsford on Saturday.
Visitor's might even see the old woman who is believed to haunt the house after dying in an upstairs bedroom in the heritage building many years ago.
And those who dare to be scared can visit the Ten Days of Terror underway at the Mission Arts Centre where young actors rise from the dead to frighten rash residents who enter the haunted manse.
Abbotsford/Mission residents who also enjoy getting their ghoul on can send the Abbotsford Times a photo of their spooktacular haunted house, creepy costume or fabulous Jack o' Lantern for our online photo gallery.
