Mission RCMP arrested known prolific offender Richard Abram Born, 47, after finding what the police believe to be numerous stolen items in the man's residence.

Police seized several items that were stolen during recent break and enters in Mission, including power tools, two-way radios and a very expensive mountain bike, said Const. Amanda Harnett.

The owners of the goods have been notified. Born is in custody and is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000. Born has a lengthy criminal history of more than 30 convictions dating back to 1991.
