Worker airlifted to hospital

 

 
 
 

A construction worker was airlifted to hospital after an accident at an Abbotsford farm on Monday afternoon.

A man hired to do renovation work on an empty barn building at Prism Farms on Gladwin Road was struck by a piece of equipment that fell from a height of 12 feet, where another employee was working on a ladder, according to WorkSafeBC.

WorkSafeBC was notified about the incident at 3: 30 p.m. and is investigating.
