The Glass Hive Studio holds a Salvation Army fundraiser and open house on Dec. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jen Eaton, author of the children's book series It's Okay to be Me will also be there for a release and signing of her first three books on self-esteem and anti-bullying.
See studio owners Kent and Ellen Miller's decorated 55-foot Christmas tree, enjoy hotdogs and hot chocolate - proceeds will go to the Centre of Hope. Visitors can also drop off good used clothing or furniture donations for the Salvation Army.
The Glass Hive Studio has fused glass products including dinnerware, wind chimes, sun catchers, bowls, platters and jewelry in a rainbow of colours. Custom work and classes available.
