Jam in Jubilee

Outdoor movie nights

Prospera Credit Union brings Cinema under the Stars to the valley, showing a free flick on a three-storey high big screen. The Lion King is playing Aug. 17, at Exhibition Park, Abbotsford. On Aug. 25, it's The Lorax at Mission Fraser River Heritage Park. The movie is free, but Prospera will be taking donations on behalf of a local charity. See more at www.prospera.ca.

Quilting show

The Mennonite Central Committee Quilters show their handiwork at their annual quilt show at the Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, from Aug. 20 - 26.
