UFV's men's basketball team split with UBC, losing 76-71 Friday before knocking off their No. 1-ranked opponents 89-77 Saturday.

"I was very pleased with our team's first half, it was our best performance in the six regular season games," said coach Adam Friesen.

UFV's men's and women's teams play at home this weekend.
