Abbotsford Figure Skating Club's novice dance skaters Tyler Miller, 18, and Alexa Linden, 17, placed second in provincials and took third place in Skate Canada Western Challenge Dec. 6-9 in Regina, Sask. on Dec. 6-9.

Their third place finish qualifies them for the Skate Canada National Championships to be held in January in Ontario.

Abbotsford figure pairs skaters Megan Geddes, 14, and Gary Tsai, 17, placed 11th in the Skate Canada Western Challenge, the national competition for pre-novice skaters Dec. 6-9. Their season ends with this competition.

The pair from the Abbotsford Skating Club had earlier taken first place at the BC/YT Sectional Championships (the provincial competition).
