The first round playoff exit of the Abbotsford Pilots last season was something of a rarity in the Pacific International Junior Hockey League, and the local team will look to patch things up when the 2010-2011 season begins tonight.

The motto is "what happened in the past stays in the past," as the Pilots will host the Delta Ice Hawks tonight beginning at 7:30 p.m., with the hopes of adding yet another banner to the rustic rafters of MSA Arena.

Delta defeated Abbotsford by a score of 3-1 in exhibition play back on Sept. 3.
