The Cascade men also swept the weekend, beating the Manitoba Bisons 83-59 Friday at home. Kevon Parchment put up 42 points (65 per cent) in the win followed by Sam Freeman with 18.

"Kevon had a brilliant game tonight for us," said head coach Adam Friesen. "His shooting tonight was flawless as he seemed to hit every shot he took."

On Saturday the Cascades defeated the Winnipeg Wesmen 68-62 to improve to 5-3 in CIS Canada West.

Tied at the start of the fourth quarter, UFV took control of the game as they outscored Winnipeg by six down the stretch to complete the comeback and win their fifth of the campaign.

The Cascades now travel to Brandon and Regina for their final two regular season games before the holiday break.
