Mission's Carly Rae Jepsen was a big winner at the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night, when she took home three trophies for her hit video, Call Me Maybe.
The song, which she co-wrote, earned Jepsen the top category of video of the year, MuchMusic.com most watched video and UR FAVE video of the year.
"Thank you to the fans for this - this one's amazing," Jepsen said while accepting the fan-decided award, according to a story on Canoe.
Jepsen recently signed to Scooter Braun's School Boy Records in the U.S. at the urging of her Canadian booster Justin Bieber, who brought her to the Ellen DeGeneres Show in March for her first big U.S. talk show appearance.
Call Me Maybe sits at the top of the iTunes charts, and it's topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100, and went to No. 1 in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Jepsen, 26, helped open the awards show, singing her hit song sitting on a swing made out of a big blue phone.
The singer/songwriter has performed since she was a little girl, wowing Mission audiences as the lead in Annie at the Clarke Foundation Theatre. In 2007, she came third in the fifth season of Canadian Idol, and was a part of the Canadian Idol Top 3 concert tour.
