Abbotsford Police have identified the woman found dead along Riverside Road on Monday morning as Shaminderjeet Kaur Brar.
Brar, 34, who was likely the victim of a hit-and-run was reported missing to police on Feb. 12.
Investigators have determined Brar was last seen by a witness on Saturday, Feb. 16 at around 8 p.m., said Const. Ian MacDonald in a press release.
As such, police are working to narrow the timeline for when Brar might have been struck between Saturday night and the early morning hours of Monday Feb. 18.
Brar was wearing a reddish pink hoodie, blue jeans and white runners when she was in the ditch on Riverside south of King Road.
Investigators are also asking anyone who had contact with Brar after Feb. 10 to contact the Abbotsford Police at 604-859-5225.
